As soon as the news arrived that Mr. Matsubara — a leading lubricants expert with over 40 years of experience at Kyodo Yushi — was about to complete his term and return to Japan, all of LAS’s management and staff were filled with heartfelt emotions they wanted to express to him.
Mr. Matsubara was like a teacher to us during LAS’s first steps in the lubricants field, when we became the authorized distributor of Kyodo Yushi in Vietnam. With a culture of gratitude and recognition, LAS has always regarded him as a father figure and elder brother who accompanied and guided LAS through each step of growth to this day. All the valuable knowledge he accumulated over decades of working with Toyota, Honda, and other leading manufacturers — he generously shared and trained LAS employees, helping LAS develop Vietnam’s top lubricant specialists.
The farewell was filled with sincere and warm sentiments that LAS’s management and all staff expressed through heartfelt wishes and special gifts presented to him. These emotional moments reflect the deep bond between LAS and its long-time Japanese partner, and the gratitude LAS carries for the knowledge and trust Mr. Matsubara brought to our team over the years.
